Thanks for all the Help....i guess it is normal....only time will tell.

I would really like to See other videos with L.s.d.'s installed at cruising speeds to get a feel for what other brands sound like.

=)

^ make a "official request thread" sounds and detailed post only, no post bull crap....

start with posting your video to set the pace..........put info like:

1. Brand - Nismo LSD
2. Setting - 2way
3. purchased - "insert where here"
4. Fluid type used- "insert type here"
5. Any aditions - Nismo diff cover added
6. etc...etc..
7.

FYI If I recall correctly, although the Cusco may come from the factory as 100% lock, I bought mine from Z1 who I believe re-stacks the clutches to 60%, but I re-stacked them when I got it to 80%.

If you're into any kind of tracking/autox, this is by far one of the best mods you can do. With noise comes performance.

^ I have to completely agree...........

I bought a VLSD equipped 350z.......and let me tell you right now:
"YOUR LIE'N TO YOURSELF IF YOU THINK THE VLSD IS GOOD ENOUGH"

HANDS DOWN the best mods on my car have been:
1. LSD
2. Coilovers
3. Clutch

The rest is fine tuning and/or excessive depending on what it is...unless your gonna really use it..

Why doesn't anybody use the recommended 75w140 for the diff? Also...what is that sound on the video at 50 seconds in? Sounds like a Pterodactyl.

i've had the GT LSD pro for about 2yrs now, and it's been one of the best investments i've made. regarding the diff fluid question, i actually found that the original Veruspeed oil works best and has less chattering than using the Motul or Mobil 1 diff fluids. using that with a dash of anti-chatter fluid makes for a much quieter ride and everyday driveability. i believe it also makes for a smoother transition upon lockup when it does engage.

it did cost a lot more than traditional diff fluids, but Veruspeed is the best way to go.

sorry for the first post...i've been a long time lurker, and only now think that i have something useful to contribute.

EXACTLY......Motul makes this weight but everyone insists on the P90 instead.
