Default Nismo Gt L.S.D. Pro problem (Video inside)

I got the Rear end Installed about 3 months ago and it was chattering at first but not so much popping now its gotten really loud i have flushed the fluids at least 3 times trying to find shavings or some kind of chunks and cant seem to find any.

Only pops alot when cold, low speeds and while in gear and if i Clutch and turn doesnt make any kinds of noise.

Ive searched everywhere and couldnt find a video to help me diagnose the problem. So i made one posted it so maybe someone who's had experience with upgraded l.s.d. could maybe post what it should sound like or help me with my problem.

Thank you for you Help

What fluid are you using, because that sounds normal for the nismo. I see your new on the forum, maybe someone didn't explain it properly but the nismo is a loud diff. I never knew it was that loud outside tho lmao.

This is actually my New Screen name it used to be Mkivtt03 but i no longer have A 95 Supra Turbo.
I've been in the Z game since 04. This was my Daily while I built the Supra but unfortuanly someone rear ended me and totaled it but i decided to build this. My goal is to Ls1 it by next year for sure.
this is actually my second Z i had an 03 Redline Red Touring

Im just not familiar with Rear ends much since it wasnt a major topic or something to really look forward to doing on the Supra. I lived and breathed 2jz for so long. In those cars there is no Need to upgrade the Torsen Rear end.

What i dont get is....They say the Pop is normal but i see videos of drift cars cruising or you see hi HP cars rolling around ive never come across a car thats rear end sounded anything like this?

DUde, that is EXACTLY how a broken in NISMO LSD will sound....

Best thing you can do is buy MOTUL 90PA and limited slip additive on your next change.
Edit - found it - this stuff, Buy TRANS-X sold at autozone and put it in when changing the fluid next time:
TRANS-X: - It will help, with out greatly affecting performance...

AND
MOTUL 90PA:

Honestly, i love the sound prior to the popping, it sounds like the "predator's lil growl" that trips everyone out???

LOL....

but trust me, thats normal...I have a NISMO LSD and know two people that had them prior to me and thats normal...

Man your car sounds as crunchy as mine (I have Cusco 2-way, 80% lock), it's getting louder and louder. I run Motul 90PA as well, no additives though. I figure if there is going to be an issue it will just blow up and I'll switch to quaife.

LOL telling people its the LSD is funny, they just don't get it. It sounds broken but the performance is kick ***.

I'm going to drop the fluid soon just to make sure there's no gunk.

Yeah I know what you mean. I didn't know they came at 100% lock from Cusco and I had it installed with 4.08 gears on my last Z and that thing scared me the first time I drove it.... I thought the guy installed it wrong... but it made the car feel totally different!!! I def recommend a clutch type LSD over a mechanical or Viscous...... !!!! have fun with it sir

Edit: I also got lots of positive and negative attention.... and I said its my LSD and got quite a few weird looks... even from experienced () auto guys.

If i can afford this i would get this. I like the sound too..It's something that you don't hear from typical cars, you only hear it from drift/autoX cars.

Does the amount of chatter vary with the setting in the lsd? (60-100% lock)
Mine is at 60% and is relatively quiet.
