Default Car won't start!! Advice please? (P1610, P1614)

Was at my local car wash / garage today and I tried to do the throttle position sensor reset to rectify some other issue.

After doing this, I tried to start my car and it was cranking but not turning over. Immediately, I plugged in my laptop and saw the following codes:

*** There are 4 faults on the system ***

P0300, MULTI CYL MISFIRE
P1610, NATS MALFUNCTION
P1614, NATS MALFUNCTION
P0113, IAT SEN/CIRCUIT

Now I know about the first one so I know it's not that... but the three new ones that have appeared are P0113, P1610, P1614.

I got a friend to take me home to pick up the spare key. I tried starting and doing a generic reset procedure I found but still no luck!

The guys at the garage are just scratching their heads, but it appears as if the key needs to be re-coded?

I've tried to call Nissan about it who said they had no-one there that could help but said a mobile specialist should be able to sort it?

My cars a JDM (RHD) 2003 350z. It has a Vortech v3 fitted with the Uprev. I've heard that you can turn the NATS off with the uprev, will I be able to sort it this way?

Please if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know before I resort to calling in the stealers...

Since its uprev, there's multiple programs. Is it possible u have it in valet mode? Try switching the program with the cruise control.

If that doesn't work, i would just let it sit with the battery unplugged for the day and try starting it tomorrow.

Hi All,

Just to add the solution to this;

Left the car at the garage with the negative unplugged the entire night... The next day, the ECU seemed to have unlocked itself and then the car could be started.

Please note: In this case, leaving the negative unplugged for a few hours did not resolve this issue... so if this happens to you, make sure it's for atleast half the day.
