Automatic Transmission
My automatic tranmsission sorta lags a bit. It doesnt happen when I take of from a dead stop. It happens while im driving if I were to press brakes a little to slow down and immediatly put my foot back on the pedal to give some gas I wud see the RPM needle climb responding to me giving the car gas and the the car responds to it a nano second later jerkin forward to catch up with the rpm's i guess. Im just annoyed from the little "jerking forward feeling". The transmission fluid doesnt look burnt or anything. its still pretty transparent and pink. Im not sure if the dealer has changed the fluid. but I got it a little over 40k miles. I have no way of checking the ATF bcuz there is no exact indication of how high or how low the fluid should be. I plan on doing a complete flush to see if it will solve the problem, but a little input from you guys are always Good. Thanks
Not wanting to sound doubtful or anything. Are you familiar with the problem that im talking about and does this transgo kit solve this problem. I wanna know if this kit solves the problem or is my tranny about to take a sooner than i think **** on me. Thanks
This is just your transmission building pressure... when you hit the gas the revs climb but the tranny doesn't react as fast as your foot. This is not an issue, it is normal. If you want more responsive reaction from your auto trans you need to put a "shift kit" in and upgrade the valve body. If you can live with the stock reaction time of the trans, leave it alone.
