pls chime in if anyone has any clue to my new problem that started the other day. hit unlock get in car go, put key in car no power to anything at all (its like the factory alarm is not disarmed) push unlock lock buttons on remote nothing. car was just driven battery is fully charged( check with volt meter) get out of car walk around it, keep playing with buttons eventually unlocks power back to everything. ( only about 1 min) same thing happens last night except would not go back on, just as I was about to leave the car slammed hood down out of anger and power came on started it quick and drove straight home..

The only thing that i have done was tint all the tail lights and i had my back bumper off maybe a connection to the trunk is loose? I know when the bumper is off there is same problem just figured its bc of the trunk connection to the factory alarm.

But why when the hood slammed it worked? coincidence? any clues any way to jimmy rig the alarm off to make sure i dont get stuck at work tm till i can really find the problem. where should I start? really dont wanna take whole bumper off again if not neccessary.

^ ya, check that......if they wiggle, they are loose......must be super tight..
