I have a 2004 Z and my service engine light came on this morning as soon as I pulled out of my drive way. It was cold this morning I wonder If that had something to do with it because I have JWT pop charger installed. This has happen before with out the pop charger and I 'm not sure if the two thing have anything to do with each other. do you guys have an advise or has this happen to any other Z owners? I'm planning on getting it scanned today when I get home.

 

Service engine light can come on for a variety of reasons. You need to get the codes from your scan to determine why.

 

Thanks just got it scanned, it was the intake timing bank 1 and 2 they said that it could happen for a number of reason and the biggest one for this year of car is COLD since today I was running late for work I didnt warm up my car like I usually do and this is what happen. I turned off the light drove back to work and now it working fine light did not come back on yet

 

how did u turn it off? Same thing happen to me today. Cold out side and didn't warm up the car B4 driving it!
