Yes I have had a tune for my mods back in June/July.

This maybe a long shot, but my M3 had a similar issue and it ended up being a corroded and partially broken ground strap for the motor. At startup the starter was pulling so much current and using soo many things as a ground that all kinds of stuff blinked and the engine ran very rough.
Well I was underneath my car the other day changing the oil and I was looking around and noticed the small ground strap on the driver's side of the motor was kind of burnt and frayed. I think I'm gonna replace that and see what happens.

The terminals are ok. Everything looks good under the cover.

I think Hal@Injected did this when he was tuning my car. He too noticed the drop in RPM's and told me he thought it was a vaccum leak.

"Check your coolant levels"

Why?

"The sensor"

On a cold start, the temperature of the sensor won't change enough to matter in the first couple seconds, regardless of the coolant level.

Try cleaning the throttle body. I had an issue with my idle doing the same thing but it happened anytime that I took it out of gear to come to a stop (like for a light). Cleaning the TB solved my issue.

Just curious. What do you find when you clean the TB, and where do you find it? What's in the TB that's sensitive to whatever it is you find there?

The throttle body gets a lot of carbon buildup on the butterfly. I'm not sure what it is about the carbon buildup that makes things go haywire but I can tell you take my "dropping idle" problem and low, rough idle were solved by cleaning the throttle body.
