Question 'chatter' in 5th/6th ???

this only seems to happen after accellerating and letting off the throttle completely? application of the throttle immediately remedies this and it wont reappear again until original situation occurs?

I love this Z but dang if it don't confuse the f outta me?

Do not accelerate and let off the throttle completely. Modulate the throttle for better gas mileage.

thanks for the reply, but that doesn't address the issue. when driving in traffic, sometimes they slow ahead unexpectedly. this also happens on long downgrades. Would you recommend i clutch it and go eleventy billion mph ??

How fast are you going and what's the engine rpms when the "chatter" occurs? Is it just noise, or does the car actually vibrate?

The dual mass flywheel sometimes makes noise without noticeable vibration of the car. That's normal. If the car is actually vibrating, you've got a problem.
