hey all,
i got rear ended on christmas day and need a little help. i have two questions
1: could one or two of you post a picture of your gas cap door? mine looks way out of whack and the body man says thats how they are made.
2: are the exhaust tips on the stock exhaust even with each other normally ? my right tip sticks out further than the left and the body guy also said that that must be factory and not from the wreck.

Your body guy is a retard. Really, uneven exhaust tips from the factory??? I'd also get on your insurance company and let them know if any unsatisfactory repairs have already been done.

 

 

exhaust is supposed to be even, the tips are non adjustable. as for the gas cap, post a pic

the gas cap should be even and centered all the way around and the exhaust should absolutely be even,

your body guy is lazy

 

my car is up at the body shop now so i wont be able to get pics . the reason i picked this guy is because he had done amazing work for my dad on a couple trucks and a car as well. i will go up on monday and talk with the guy my dad has always worked with and not his assistant. he was out of town all week. i will let him know about the exhaust and from the pictures it looks like my gas door is a little bit out of whack. mine is almost touching towards the front of the car and has probably a 1/4 inch gap towards the back. thanks for the help and i will call the insurance co. and request to change shops if they dont make me happy monday.
