Default Automatic Transmission Fluid

Umm I just got done doing a automatic transmission flush at a sinclair dino lube. I just looked it up and they said to use only Nissan J matic fluid and other will damage my transmission. However there they said my car used a special additive. Did they use the correct fluid or am I going to have to go to a nissan dealership?

there are some other brands that comply with J or S matic standards. Double check with the shop. But if you're still not sure, it's better to be safe than sorry - get it changed at the dealer if you must. The tranny isnt cheap to rebuild

If you are still in warranty, then you better be using the Nissan-J or it's replacement, the -S trans fluid.
