Default Clutch Problem.

During this weekend my clutch started getting stuck, i kept using it but then it got to the point it would not let me go in gear. I thought it could be it needed bleeding, but when i tried no fluid came out and the clutch went to having no pressure at all. I went ahead and also got SS clutch line and will be using Motul fluid. Is it the master cylinder then? Thanks!

Not certain. If the clutch is not engaging or disengaging completely, the transmission will be difficult to shift.

BTW clutch fluid has never fixed a broken clutch. Never.

I know the fluid wont fix it, i'm just going to use higher temp rbf600 now. I just wanted to know if the problem could be the master cylinder? The clutch pedal lost all pressure when i went to bleed it. It was working perfectly before, car onbly has 9000 miles. Thanks.

fill with fluid and see if it comes out the line. the lines are well known for going out. sounds like thats the problem and the stainless line should fix it.

05's seem really common to have the master start sticking. Probably needs a rebuild, a master cylinder rebuild kit from Fontana Nissan only costs $15 , and for another $15 you can get the slave rebuilt kit. After that you would have a full fresh hydraulic clutch system.

Did you end up rebuilding the master cylinder? Did it solve the problem?

I am experiencing this clutch pedal sticking (not as bad as your's, but similar) even after 2 clutch bleeds with Motul.

I want to get some more confirmation from other members before I proceed because it's not easy to get to the master cylinder.

Thanks.
