Question should I get my FEATHERING looked at by engineers if I have MODS??

I have test pipes and a crawford plenum and strut tower brace, I do NOT want them to red flag my car and risk future warentee work on my car.

I have an appointment next week for them to look at my feathering, should I cancel it or should I just go and not worry about it??

What do your mods have to do with the tires? They are not related and why should they care, their focus is tires, isn't it? I wouldn't worry about any red flags

I haven't been active on this thread for a couple of months since the trans. was replaced in mid July and the dealer took the initial information to open up a service/warranty claim on the tires. Frankly I'm shocked this thread is now at 75 pages and continuing!

I did get a new set of front tires from my local dealer earlier this week; unfortunately they're the same RE030 Bridgestones and the "replacement" tires were not available.

The service writer told me that RE92 Bridgestones were the replacements, as "told" to him from his Bridgestone or Nissan contact [I can't recall]. RE92s are all season tires that according to Bridgstone's website aren't even available in our Z's sizes.

Could we be talking about the Potenza S-03 tire as the replacement? Or is there another Bridgestone model that will fit?

This is, mercifully, the last ongoing problem I have to deal with. I have to say my dealer, Concordville Nissan, has been very good to me about these claims to date.

RE 92S are not the Bridgestones most dealers are replacing the OE tires with, the 03s are, or they are replacing with Michelin Pilot Sports, either summer or all season from what I've read. The 92s are not in the same league with the 040S, Pilot Sports, or 03s, they are just much cheaper.

Boomer:

That's what I thought, they're not of the same calibre as the 040 or S-03s.

I will relay that to them tommorrow when I finalize my purchase order for a new Quest for my wife.

Happy Thanksgiving.
