So not too long ago I had the Service Engine Soon Light come up and I pulled the code and tried to clear it multiple times but it kept coming back, so I jacked the car up today to check the sensors and I noticed two disconnected wires, is this likely to be the cause? If anyone else has prior experience with the same code, please let me know.. I was trying to figure out a way to put the wires back together with some electrical tape but I know that would only be a temporary fix and I couldn't find a way to get to the other end of the wire, is the only solution to get it completely replaced? Advice and suggestions welcome
Thanks !
Thanks !
Ha, it's the thoughts that counts, thanks dude, and yeah I plan on replacing it, I hear a Bosch one runs around 130$ ish, so it shouldn't be too bad, only problem I'm probably going to face is getting the damn thing off because I heard that can be a pain in the butt.

that is, unless its seized in there so hard that as you break the thread loose, you literally break half of the sensor leaving half of it wedged in the thread or even worse, inside the cat. then you're dealing with alot more shlt and will have to replace the cat or find a way to reverse-tap the damaged sensor out. I've been in that boat.
