When I shut the car off I hear this rattle from under the car.

Now if I press down the clutch and shut it off i dont hear anything.

The car is brand new 2004 built in sept. I have 1600 miles on it right now. Is this normal??

 

mine rattles at idle (can here it up against jersey walls or drive throughs due sound bouncing off walls). mine is a 2003 with 15,000 miles and the transmission is fine, no slipping or grinding!

shouldn't be too much to worry about!
