Anyone know how to change this? Ive gone through about 10 AC belts. everytime i would redline, the belt would rip to shreads. THe only thing i think it can be is the AC idler tention pulley. it's very wobbly. So i just bought another one. i haven't jacked up the car ot see what i'm working with but wondering if anyone knows the procedure. i couldn't find the how to in the online manual.
thanks.
thanks.
1. Remove undertray
2. Loosen nut on front of pulley but dont remove
3. Loosen adjuster under pulley to release belt tension
4. remove nut from pulley and take note of the order and orientation of washers.
5. Installation is reverse of removal

Well I guess I'll bump this thread since I now own this car and having the same problem. Appears it was never fixed however maybe he forgot to relay this information to me. I have it in my shop now and have a new idler pulley however when I put everything back on bolt washer wise it gets so tight the pulley barely turns.
