Out of curiosity, I was wondering how many of you keep a spreadsheet or record somewhere of all the maintenance and mods you've had done on your car.

 

I keep one with mods, cost, where purchased and miles on the car when installed. I drive 80 miles a day so it is easy to lose track of how many miles something is actually on the car. Also keep one of when fluids/belts/etc were done (other than standard oil changes) as well as what fluids, where purchased etc. It helps if someone has a question as to where to get something too.

 

Yes. Besides the maintenance book I have a couple of 5x7 cards for "odd" due dates. One for oil changes, one for cleaning filters.

The 370Z has a maintenance due computer but I find it inconvenient.

Also annotate when tires are replaced.

 

I've got one I use for all my vehicles too. My wife's g37 has a maintenance computer as well, and I agree, I find it annoying.

 

Absolutely. One tab for maintenance, modifications and mileage; one tab for fuel economy.

 

Yes. I keep track of all maintenance records and other important info in a folder that I keep in my filing cabnet.
