Tensioner Pulley Help
I have a problem with my A/C tension pulley. I've searched for a couple weeks now and im forced to lean on my fellow forum buddies.
heres the situation, changed belts a couple weeks ago and found out my A/C tensioner pulley bolt's head has been broken off by previous owner. looks like he/she decided to take a crow bar and pry it toward the passenger side to try and tighten the belt. I guess it worked but after i got the crank belt changed, the A/C side decided to squeel like crazy when the A/C is on.
Has anyone changed the whole tensioner before? Does anyone have a DIY on it? Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

i thought you were talking about replacing the entire tensioner. the entire tensioner comes off.
the long bolt that adjusts the tension can also be replaced. you'd need to figure the thread pitch and order one from like mcmaster carr or fastenal.

I could go either way, I'd rather replace the whole assembly just because I would most liking have trouble getting the adjusting bolt off since it's broken an bent.
