Scratched my Gunmetal TE-37 bigtime
i feel absolutely horrible. 4000 miles w/ no problems, then this.
i have deep scratching around approx 7" of the circumference of my left front. through the clearcoat and the paint, exposing fresh metal.
who do i need to call to get this fixed and any approximations on cost?
btw, i live in raleigh, NC, and would like to keep it as close as possible.
thanks in advance.

i did the same thing to an old rim last yr and it cost me $115 to have it repaired. look for a wheel repair shop but make sure its a reputable one since your dealig w/volks...check around at some of the performance shops around your way; they might be able to recommend

I don't know how bad your scratch is, but I curbed one of my Nismos. I got some very fine sand paper (350 grit) and sanded off the black rough marks. I then cleaned and smoothed it off with simichrome and polishing compound. I keep a perpetual coat of wax on them always. From six inches away, you would never know about my repair.
