Yes...Another rear strut metal on metal clicking noise
Hey guys,
Been reading pretty much every thread on the internet regarding this stupid issue and can't seem to figure it out.
I went over a pot hole a couple weeks ago and immediately after I got a metal on metal clicking noise which has been pin pointed to the left rear strut. Seems as though it's coming from inside, like from the top of the shock mount.
When I'm driving flat roads it's fine but when I hit any kind of rough patch or a speed bump, I get the clicking noise.
I know that there is a ton of these same threads but they all seem to end with no real solution.
I brought it into Nissan already. They did the Rear axel lube and tighten which was my immediate thought because of so many other people having the same issue. That did NOT solve the problem.
if anyone has any suggestions or has gone through this exact problem, please help a brother out
Thanks!

My 2004 g35 coupe and my 2006 350z both made the same noise, turned out to be the rear sway bar end links. Have the dealer disconnect them and drive it, I bet the noise goes away! They only seem to last between 20-25,000 miles. Good luck!
Update:
Disconnected End links and the noise still occurs.
Also tightened up the rear strut flange bolted to the top of the wheel well and still same thing.
Driving home last night in cold weather, the car didn't seem to make as much noise as it is today in sunny weather.
It's definitely coming from the Left rear strut brace/fender/body join area.
If anyone has any clue. Please post
