Ok, so I was driving home last night and all of a sudden the car starts shaking rather violently and my CEL starts flashing at me! It goes away and then I'll accelerate and it comes back flashing again. I checked the plugs and coil packs and it doesn't sound like it's misfiring. Any ideas what might have happened? Possibly a bent valve? I wasn't even speeding or anything stupid when this happened :/. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Rather than making a thread about it, how about you get the code checked. Search for the code and figure out what other people have done to fix it.
When you get done searching and still don't find your answer, then make a clear and concise thread that details out what you have done to remedy the problem rather than another useless thread titled....HELP! spoon feed me and e-diagnose my car!
All these HELP ME! threads lately are cluttering up my350z.com and making searching that much more difficult. Lazy users just want to be handed information. You might actually learn something by searching and reading.

cause? could be any number of things. Get yourself a factory service manual, scan to see if it identifies a specific cylinder, or random misfires, and to see if any other codes are present, and go from there.

Yeah I went out and checked it some more, and you're right, it is definitely misfiring. Hopefully nothing too serious. I'm about to take it to the dealer. Thanks for your help.

You could also go to any Pep Boys, AutoZone, Advanced Auto, etc and have them tell you what code it is throwing - for FREE.
That is the best place to start, because it can give you an idea of which part of your engine is causing the problem.

Got it diagnosed, not at the stealer, and it turns out Cylinder 1 is misfiring. Dropped it off at the stealership and I'll know more tomorrow. Fortunately, the car is under warranty so it shouldn't cost me more than $50 to get repaired.
make them fix it for free its under warranty

Yeah I do have a $50 deductible. It's all good now though. They said the MAF sensor was faulty, although I think maybe some oil got on it from the K&N drop-in filter. Anyways, the air bag light has been on since I bought the car and my rear axles have been clicking, so I'm getting that fixed as well. Plus, they told me that my valve cover was leaking, which I never even noticed. All together the repairs are going to cost over 4k and I only have to pay $50
