2600 miles old I smelled oil cooking when I shut it off.
I put it on the rack and found the trans oil was running out of the
trans tail shaft seal. It was running on the exhaust and really
smelled as it got heated . It was blown back the tunnel and down the drive shaft. The selling dealer replaced it .
I took it on an extended hard mountain run (150 miles) over the
weekend and when I shut it off in my garage I smelled that
smell again. I put it on the rack last night and found fluid was coming out again. It went from a leak to a drip. When it dripped on the hot exhaust it smelled. I am disappointed.
Has anyone had a trans leak?
I have another drop off appointment next Monday.
I also looked at my front tires and guess what!!!!!!!!
They are starting to get that notorious wear pattern.

I will change the things I can and accept those that I can’t.
