Default sticky throttle/ still revs when i put clutch in

My throttle has like i would explain it as a lag. When i push the clutch in to change gears rpms still go up for alittle then drop down like they should. NO IM NOT RIDING THE CLUTCH AND KEEPING MY FOOT ON THE THROTTLE.. A friend mentioned having the ecu relearn throttle positioning... Anyone have similair problems or anything and know how to fix it.. Im afriad im doing uneeded damage to my clutch as well as some rough shifting because rpms just start to drop when i let the clutch out when i grab the next gear so its a little jerkey.. I thought it was just the way it was but i drove another Z the other day and noticed its not.. Thanks guys!

When you engage the clutch engine RPM will drop. You just added the drive train load to the motor.
