Hey guys i just finished putting an engine in and i had a battery problem but i fixed it. Now i started the car and it idles fine just when it goes to 4k rpm it doesnt go past!!! What culd be wrong and also i get code p0335 i know it cant be the crankshaft sensor because i changed it recently!

 

Do you have an AccessPORT by chance? Those things can read the code and tell you what it is, for instance I once had the check engine light come on, AccessPORT said pXXXX and something about the catalyst.

 

the only code i get is p0355 which is the crankshaft sensor. i just changed it and its still there.is there an alignment on the drive plate that might be messing it up?

 

I hate to ask this, but have you taken it to a dealership?

 

fixed it. it was the wire loosening from the harness for the sensor
