Car turn on at cold start but dies at hot start
So here's the problem, my car was running on test pipe and one day I accidently run over a log and it caught my O2 sensor and ripped it apart. I was running with CEL on for 2 weeks or so. I bought new O2 sensor and decide to change from test pipe and go with kinetix HFC cuz my test pipes was too loud. So i finish the installation and replace O2 sensor and HFC. So here's the problem.
My car starts fine at cold starts, or whenever I dont drive for a long period of time. However, when I start during hot start or when I drove for while, it idles and die in 2 or 3 seconds. I have to give it a little gas in order for the car to stay on during hot start. I had a tune up a week before I did my HFC installation as well. Maybe the mechanic did something wrong?
Anybody know what I should check? My CEL doesnt turn on after I install the HFC. My car is a 2003 350Z base model. I was thinking that something might be loose during my installation. I am going to have the car up and take a look at it and try to see if anything is loose. Should I check anything else since I'm down there working on the car anyway?

hmm, i dont have any experience with HFC.
What you can try is hookup a OBD2 code reader and use an application to monitor the motor while you hotstart it to replicate the engine stall. (check fuel psi, timing etc)
Could be your ECU is going bananas due to ripped out O2 sensor.
Try also googling the effects of having no 02 sensor( since yours is shredded)

My 350 does a similar thing but I had nothing ripped out. I just went on Vacation and when i got back it dies on a hot start. I've heard clean out the MAF and the throttle body, im going to give it a try next week if i get a chance. Ill let you know how it goes.
