Issue: Clutch/Cylinder Problem
I have a 03 350z, 120k miles on it. Just replaced the clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing in April. I am now having problems with what sounds like the clutch. It takes a long time for me to get up and go.
First gear...Clutch fully out, the car doesnt stall out, it just sits there and idles.
The clutch pedal has little/no resistance when pushed down. It does come back up.
I checked the master cylinder for fluid the other day. Level seems good.
I got under the car and looked at my slave cylinder today. Lines seem worn, but no signs of leaks.
I can hear something rattling in the trans bay, possibly the throw out bearing?
So here is the question..
I am going to drop the trans and dig for the problems. I am going to replace the clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing again. Should I replace the master and slave cylinders also?
Can someone please give me some links to replacing the clutch and slave/master cylinders, step-by-step. Please help me out. Thanks to all...
