Interior door handle trim
Anyone know how to remove that black piece that runs from the door handle to the door vent? Mine is all scratched and needs paint but I dont want to jack it up any more than it is.

Instead of repainting it so it will get scratched up again, you should consider putting in some carbon fiber "barrel" trim. You can get online through many sources.I have in my Z.
The pieces are thin,CF veneer with peel off backing,They will not scratch and they are pretty cheap.Hint,if you order, its good to heat the material with hairdryer to bend it into
a curve before applying.

pizzato16, did you ever figure out how to remove "that black piece that runs from the door handle to the door vent". I am looking to remove mine as well. The link that Advan provided is for the window motor, I stepped through it all but I never saw where that piece gets removed.
Just noted that CF overlays are again available on e-bay.
Do a search:carbon fiber inside door barrel overlay.
I've not seen these available for some time.
Quick fix for the scratches that are common in this area!
