Default High speed vigorus vibration

So I noticed once I had my new clutch installed I had a pulsing violent vibration coming from the bottom of the car...judging by the fact it was only at high speeds (70+) I thought it could be either wheel alignment or balance. So I got the car aligned when I bought and installed the new wheels. Well the problem is still there. The vibration comes from the bottom, through the shift ****, and kinda vibrates the floor and seats too. I'm wondering when I got my clutch installed they didn't seat it properly enough, or when they did my alignment/wheel balance they fudged something up. Anyone have suggestions on what it could be? Performance wise and shifting is unaffected, same with steering.

They might not have put the driveshaft back in its original position when they replaced the clutch. You're supposed to mark the flanges on the yoke and companion flange before removing the DS so you can put it back correctly.

It's also possible they damaged the DS while it was out. The SM calls for using a protective sleeve to keep from damaging the carbon fiber tube.

There's a procedure in the SM section PR for checking the runout of the DS. Excessive runout will cause vibration. It might be cured by removing the bolts on the companion flange, rotating the DS 180 degrees, and reinstalling the bolts.

Get the SM and read about it.

I'd get it looked at ASAP. A DS failure at high speed can get really ugly. BTDT.

Thanks, I'll definitly get it checked out, that sounds like a very possible cause.
