Default Weird leak on rear diff

Hey all, had the car on a lift, changing throw out bearing and noticed something strange on the back of the diff, not sure if its been there always or if something broke and spilled because it looks like a black fluid leaked out of the diff... heres a picture... any help appreciated

Diff bushing is out.

Careful when you install the aluminum bushing. The SPL bushings are perfect, but not all Nissan subframes are. I cracked the outer edge of the sleeve when I tried to force the perfectly round Bushing into the not-quite-perfect-circle on my Z.

OP im sorry i jumped to conclusions.. that fluid is viral discharge and may be caused by the non v#ginal intercourse common to an alternative lifestyle..

i hate to say it but...

Spotted this ... Please tell me its not the same problem.
Just got the car in Feb. If its a rear diff problem would lemon law help me?
No drips in driveway so I didn't catch it til now

That's a fixable leak and not a major issue. It's simply fluid leaking past the drain bolt, diff cover, or it's residue from a previous fluid change.

Cool thanks man. Now that you say that the witness mark does seem a bit off. Ill snug it when I get home.

Uhh that looks like a crack on the top left of the drain bolt....
