Default Slow Acceleration

I have started to notice that my car does not accelerate near as fast as it did 3 months ago, and it's getting worse. What is weird is that when I mash the pedal my RPM's will go up, but it takes a long time for my car to gradually speed up. It just feels like its lagging. I am thinking maybe clogged air filter or injector?

Any Ideas? BTW its high milage (95k)

Is the rpm's rising and your speed is not increasing? If it's that, then your clutch is slipping.

Sounds like your clutch filed for divorce with your engine.

There are several "How to test a slipping clutch?" threads. Worthwhile reading.

Generally members go with Aftermarket clutch and flywheel. There are several "What clutch-flywheel should I get?" threads. Worthwhile reading.

Have you noticed any burning smell in or around the car recently? Slipping the clutch like you describe will usually make it smell pretty bad.
