Default Clicking Noise When Turning. What is it?

I'm no grease monkey so I can't diagnose this.

When I'm turning, I hear a clicking noise on the front, possibly driver side of the car near the wheel well.

What is it? CV Boot/Joint?

Had the car for 4 months now and this is the first issue i've encounter.

Please advise and thanks in advance.

maybe the CV boot need to be greased up or replaced. Could also be bad Tie rod. Is your car low, aggressive wheels?

All stock height. I'm thinking CV boot too then. Thanks Mane.

The Z is rear wheel drive, so there are no CV joints in the front.

Tie rod ends don't usually make clicking sounds.

That leaves the wheel bearings and the brakes. Sometimes a worn wheel bearing will cause the brake to click.

Does the clicking noise happen on both right and left turns?
Does the clicking stop when you apply the brakes as you're turning?
Have you checked the pads for wear? The noise could be the wear indicators on the pads to let you know they're about worn out.

If you're not interested in getting your hands dirty, it's time to take it to a good pro. Replacing brake pads isn't really hard, but rotors and calipers could be a challenge for a noob. Replacing the wheel bearings is pretty serious stuff.

Thanks Winchman. I didn't know this. I appreciate the breakdown and hope it's not the wheel bearings. I do hear it when I turn left and right. haven't check the brake pads for wear and tear yet.

Will have to send it to a shop for inspection.

Many thanks hombre!

I guess it's all relative... Wheel bearings aren't serious stuff to me!

OP: Does the sound change with vehicle speed, engine speed, neither? It could be a wheel bearing. Do you have any vibration when driving on the highway?

No vibration on highway. Changing of sound does not occur. It's the same, click, click, click when turning left and right.

Do you all think my dealer warranty would cover this.

52k miles w/ no issues thus far.
Alignment was checked about 2k miles ago with no issues.

Thanks,
