Default Gauge cluster going out?

A few months ago I noticed that the last few digits on the trip odometer led were not showing up... whats weird is if I pull the gauge cluster forward the digits start to show up.

I have also had a problem 3 times were I start the car and the gas gauge doesn't go up and the empty light comes on. Then my digital gauge shows the "DTE" but it had something like 150 miles so car is obviously reading the fuel amount correctly the guage is just messing up. Usually if I stop the car and start it up again the problem goes away.

Based on the fact these two things are messing I am pretty sure my gauge cluster is either broken, or is coming loose.

Has anyone had something similar happen?

My 04 touring has a couple that are not working on the odometer, think it is the tenth digit.

I noticed if I pull it (the gauge cluster) forward and push it down it "fixes" the problem but then once I let go the digits are gone again. I was thinking maybe it just needs to be tightened down but I haven't gotten a chance to look under the dash to see if there is an obvious way to do that.
