So, today while installing my short shifter I had realized that the previous owner or whomever had improperly raised the car. I don't know exactly what to call it but it is under where the drivers feet go? Under the car there is an indent where someone put a floor jack to raise the car caused some sort of dent. I was wondering if there is any solution to get rid of it? it is to the point where on the inside of the car the carpet is raised. I thought it was normal raise in the carpet. Haven't taken in to the stealership yet with the problem just seeing if there is an easy fix.

BTW: Short shifter is awesome!

 

Pix would help. I would carefully peel back your carpet and use a hammer and dolly to flatten it out....

Btw it's called a "floor" hahahahaha!! jp....

 

Well, floor seemed... to easy? But alright seems easy enough I thought that was what I should do but didn't wanna mess things up more than it is.

I would take pix to see how bad it is and check to see if there is any crusty rusty, but for SURE dont take it to the stealership... They'll do body and paint work till ya bleed for something that is just an "inconvenience".. Heck for all we know it makes your car faster?













probably not though.
