so this only happens every now and then. car starts up, go for a drive, sometimes short sometimes a long drive... turn the car off, then less then 15 min later goto turn the car back on and it just cranks but doesnt fire up...try again and same thing, try a 3rd time and bam everytime this occurs the 3rd time is the charm and she fires right up.... there are no codes, i found a bulletin at work for a recall on the crank and cam sensors... but my vin does not apply. everything is completely stock..... anyone ever have this issue? thanx

 

my car is going through a similar issue at the moment but i get a Service engine Soon/Traction Control/SLIP all lit up, but the car drives fine once it gets going

 

its the key!!!!!!!!! lol i would of figured it out sooner but this is the wifey's car... i borrowed it today and sure enough no start and the red security light was bright as can be... i grabbed the spare and she started right up... time to order another key
