Does anyone have this part its an O-RING
Find a Parker store/hydraulic store, bring bad o-ring (looks to be a Buna/butyl o-ring) so they can match it up with a new one.
Here is a website I found with different locations of O-ring stores in New Jersey.

No problemo, I use to work in this industry, but just call one of those distributors to see if they or a local shop can help you. Bring your old O-ring for sizing, and buy different sizes/multiple ones just in case the first one doesn't fit. Also pre-lube (vasaline works) O-ring before you install it. Makes mating components easier.
ok tjhanks yeah as you can see in the picture im not sure why the oring doesnt fit anymore? its weird i just took it apart and went to put it back and now it wont go back in. oh well looks like car wont be running until tomorrow!
yeah tell me about it i was sitting there for 30 freakin minutes trying to get that damn thing to seat properly, dropped on of the screws down the side of the gas tank into the body of the car, and now its lost.

Do you have magnetic mechanic fingers? I would buy one to see if you can get that screw out. They sell them at AutoZone etc...That would drive me nutz if I lost a screw in a car.
yeah i have a magnet thing but no matter what i use theres no way im getting the screw out. It fell into a little hole that goes under the fuel tank im guessing its such a small space theres no way i can get it.
Awe man that sucks, I guess next time use some parts baggies to put your screws/hardware and tie/tape it to the area in which you are working on your car. That is what I do because I use to loose **** all the time.
yeah thats what i should of done, oh well lol. The only thing im pissed about is now i cant drive the damn car lol. I gotta wait for this stupid o ring. The stores are closed so i cant even go there to get an o ring now.
buy from nissan. its about $10.
It expanded because you let gas touch it.
You can run the car without the oring. dont fill your tank to the top though cause gas will spill out.

Didnt know gas makes it expand they should of stated that in the DIY thread lol... but are you sure it wont leak? doesnt the tank have to be pressure sealed or whatever or ill loose fuel pressure?
I drove my car over 100 miles with 0 issues with an expanded gasket squeezed between the bucket and tank.
If you park on an incline or try to fill your tank you will spill gas out.
Car will run.
