Find a Parker store/hydraulic store, bring bad o-ring (looks to be a Buna/butyl o-ring) so they can match it up with a new one.

Here is a website I found with different locations of O-ring stores in New Jersey.

No problemo, I use to work in this industry, but just call one of those distributors to see if they or a local shop can help you. Bring your old O-ring for sizing, and buy different sizes/multiple ones just in case the first one doesn't fit. Also pre-lube (vasaline works) O-ring before you install it. Makes mating components easier.

O-rings stretch over time, they are a PITA to make them stay in the groove.

Do you have magnetic mechanic fingers? I would buy one to see if you can get that screw out. They sell them at AutoZone etc...That would drive me nutz if I lost a screw in a car.

yeah i have a magnet thing but no matter what i use theres no way im getting the screw out. It fell into a little hole that goes under the fuel tank im guessing its such a small space theres no way i can get it.

Awe man that sucks, I guess next time use some parts baggies to put your screws/hardware and tie/tape it to the area in which you are working on your car. That is what I do because I use to loose **** all the time.

buy from nissan. its about $10.

It expanded because you let gas touch it.

You can run the car without the oring. dont fill your tank to the top though cause gas will spill out.

I should have thought of that, Buna seals do this when touching fuel.

I drove my car over 100 miles with 0 issues with an expanded gasket squeezed between the bucket and tank.

If you park on an incline or try to fill your tank you will spill gas out.

Car will run.
