Default Windows rolling down after opening door -- car off

Same issue happened to a couple other people but I haven't been able to get an answer from them, wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? Dealer wants 120 just to check it out, which I cant dish out right now. At a huge dilemma because I cant park anywhere, and usually I park my car on the street, its now sitting in a friends garage due to this problem =/

Here's what happens:
- In the car, car is running, windows are up
- Turn the car off, open the door, windows roll down
- Can not control the window at all
- Can only stop the window from rolling down by reinserting the key into the ignition again, but once pulled it rolls all the way down into the door

Have you tried rolling them up with the key lock on the door handle?

Your window motors need to be reset because when they roll down when you open the door they are still hitting the top sill. You need to open your door panel, push and reset the window motor button fully down.......

You have to google the rest or search here. Not gonna do it all for you

Ah ic, should I attempt to do this myself, or pay to have it done? I really don't want to **** something up on my doors.

Might be seperate issue but my drivers side window is irratic...will stop working for no reason...to get it up I slam the door with the window toggle pulled up. It was working when I didn't push it all the way down or pull it all the way up. I was using the in between settings...I have to go to a dealer...I'll preplace it myself but open to options.

I leave it up now.

strongly recommend doing it yourself.. it's as easy as taking out some screws and pushing a button. check out this thread for some detailed steps and pics: https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...dow-motor.html. it even tells you how to perform the reset.
