P0507 and P0327 have tried multiple solutions
Have had these two error codes the past few weeks and tried to fix it myself as well as have taken it to a mechanic to try and resolved. Brought it back to the mechanic multiple times because error keeps coming back. After intially getting the check engine light vdc + slip will come up after starting the car soon after. Unplugging the battery for 20 minutes or so didn't resolve this so I had to get it towed the last time. Sometimes the car will be drivable and sometimes those lights come up. Here is what has been done by me and them:
cleaned intake
replaced knock sensor
replaced throttle body (previously did idle relearn, this did not fix the P0507, did it again afterwards)
replaced gaskets, spark plugs, belts
They kept the car for several days because they could not figure out what the problem was after replacing the knock sensor and they then replaced the throttle body and gaskets. The light was gone, car was fine, was responsive, for a week then these same ODB codes came up once again.
My knowledge of cars aside from basic maintance is limited, mostly been relying on searching these forums and other sites and what the people I brought the car to + friends had to say.
Any ideas on what I should try? I want to avoid spending more money until I have more an idea on what is going on here to me it felt like that throttle body and gasket replacement was reaching as it was and I do not want to be unsure of something like that once again since I am in the military and do not make much money at the moment to just be throwing at the problem. Pretty much capped out my pay for this month with bills plus trying to get this fixed.
Thanks for the help.
edit: I was reading that people replace the wiring harness. Wasn't sure if that was the wiring harness or the sub harness for the sensor? Sub harness I believe the mechanic replaced and they mentioned the wiring harness is something different. When it comes to electrical I am at an absolute loss.
