Pillar side curtain airbag removal

Hi guys,

I've searched and searched but I couldn't find a good diy on how to remove these. Can anyone shed me some light, process and abouts on how to remove them?

I'm taking out my airbags because I'm building a track car. Thanks for the input guys!

From: Scottsdale/coyote drophouse

pull a pillars.
disconnect battery ground.
pull plastic pieces around back side windows
pull plastic caps along back window glass
lift weatherstrip across rear hatch
remove sunvisors
remove headliner
remove airbags
reverse for reinstall.
done.

Removing airbags, stripping car for racing

hi,

i have a 2005 350Z DE.
I am busy stripping it for a roll cage install.
If I disconnect (unplug) all connectors for the curtain, steering wheel, dash airbags will I have any airbag light come up on my dash?

Will i I need to get something cool the airbag control unit?
