Default Squeeking --> Popping Noise on Clutch Question???

The noise has just started happening the last few days and it only happens in the morning or if the car has not been started for a few hours.

The only way I can describe it is when I push the clutch to start the car there is no sound. But on the 2nd or 3rd time I hit the clutch (i.e. after reversing and going into 1st), the clutch will make a noticeable squeeking sound when I hit it. The squeeking sound will happen the next 2-3 times I hit the clutch and then after that it will make a clicking/popping sound the next 2-3 times I hit the clutch. After driving a little while, everything goes away like nothing has happened.

The car only has 7K miles on it and it just started doing this a few days ago. Any thoughts cause I am starting to get concerned now with this.

I also hear a squeak sound when I push the clutch pedal in at mid RPMs. I wonder if wd40 will fix. WTF. Another Z problem

Mine also goes "clunk" when the pedal is just depressed. It does this intermittantly, especially when cold. The engine can be off and it still does it.

Sounds like I have a similar problem on my 04 Performance model (3k miles). Not a "squeak" but a definite clicking noise as soon as you depress the clutch pedal. Also, only does it first thing in morning or after the car has been sitting. Goes away after a few times of clutch engagement. Very inconsistent.....does not do it every day. Feels like the pedal is sticking on something but haven't taken a look to see if there's anything obvious. Won't really concern me unless it becomes more consistent or noisier.
