Engine problem?

Hey guys, I kinda need your help hehe.
So this morning was all normal, i was driving to school and then outa nowhere i notice that my Maintenance Soon, TCS OFF, and SLIP lights are all on at the same time, none of them blinking. So I tried to turn it back on, but the light still stayed there. After that, I parked my car, and then restarted my car to see if the lights would still be on, and it took a good 5 seconds to start the car o-o the lights were still on. 3 hrs later i come outside and everything seemed to be normal, the car started normal and the lights were out, except for the maintenance light. I was driving home, and then all of a sudden for 2 seconds it wouldn't accelerate when i stepped on the gas. It jolted a little bit and the lights came back on again, and the car started accelerating again. And now it takes a good 6 seconds to start the car LOL. Whats going on? Do i need oil? cause i took out the dipstick and the oil covered the WHOLE stick LOL...

Hmm, you're right! i took it to the shop today and it said that I need to get a new camshaft sensor. Man, how does a sensor cut off gas and make it hard to start a car =_____=.

naw, i went to my dad's favorite auto shop haha K&E in san jose.
so i need to get a bank 2 cam sensor.. and autozone asked me "rear or front"

Is it possible for this to NOT cause a SES light? I am starting to have similar symptoms and I do have a SES light but the only codes are p1273 and p1283 which has to do with the AF Sensors from what I understand. So I'm wondering if this could be my issue.
Yes, codes are represented by a calculated value in the ECM; ie 0001=no fault 0900=fault. If the value hangs below threshold, 0897 or so, the code will not generate but symptoms may be present. Some scanners show this "Mode 6" data in a useful way, others don't so it's hard to find someone who knows and has the tools to diagnose such problems.
Yours though, AF sensors are diagnosed in a different way than old-school 02 sensors, usually the codes are reliable for pinpointing failure. I would just replace them. An engine using these is way more reliant on them for basic engine functions like idle and such to ignore persistant codes. Plus you can damage your converters long term by not letting the ECM put what it wants through the system.
