I just looked at my '08, and I'm pretty sure there's enough room for the wrench as shown in the picture in the DIY.

Has your car even been involved in an accident or had work done that might have moved things around?

The car has been involved in an accident from the front left . I went at it this morning again I decided to take off the radiator fans but no luck, in doing so I removed the radiator hose and made a mess I hope my electrical connections for the radiator fans aren't messed up now! Should I just let'em dry and everything will be ok?

Those connections see rain/moisture all the time. You could just rinse their exterior with some clean water and never have an issue.

If you're really paranoid open the connection, let them dry or blot them dry with paper towels, give them a shot of WD40 where the terminals make contact, blot off the excess and reconnect. Don't let any of the WD40 solvent stay on any rubber!

I just removed those big plastic nuts (for lack of a better word) holding the top of the radiator in place, which allows the radiator to shift forward enough to fit the breaker bar into the tensioner. I have a basic Craftsman 1/2" breaker bar, which really doesn't have a very thin profile.
