Default 12v outlets not working- 2005 350z

hey everyone, since i bought my Z i havnt been able to get either of the 12v accesory sockets to work. is there some trick im missing or is there a fuse blown somewhere? thanks in advance everyone!

Well, the obvious thing to check first are the fuses. Look behind the driver kick panel, there's a removable door. Basic fuses there. More in the battery compartment.

The 15A fuse is in the fuse box behind the panel under the left side of the dash as Dave said. It's #7 near the middle of the top row.

From the diagram in section WW of the service manual, it looks like there may also be a fusible link inside the power sockets, too. That may be something to look at if the fuse is OK.
