car is 05 enthusiast. i replaced the driver side hid low beam thinking it was the bulb but it seems to be the ballast. im seeing 12 volts at the plug going into the ballast but the bulb is off. Whats the best way to tackle this? Aftermarket? OEM replacement? I am not too familiar with the ballasts on these cars and I'd like to avoid a cheap replacement and having to mess with different plugs and mounting.

 

I have an 04, my Ballast just went out do to water getting in on my ballast plug inside the headlight. Its real easy to take out 4 screws holding the headlight in, and i took out 3 pop tabs on top holding the bumper on, and the 3 screws holding the bumper on the side. I prefer OEM in this case, cause u might have to have bulbs as well with an aftermarket ballast, but I'm not sure.
