Default Found fuel in intake manifold. Can it been after fire

Hey guy I just got finished hanging the spark plugs on my z and when I disassembled the intake collectors I noticed the back to cylinders closest to the firewall had a fuel residue in the intake collectors and the intake manifold. Is this back firing??

What exactly does "fuel residue" look like compared to oil? What did you spark plugs do that was sooooo bad that was worthy of them being hung?

PCV system is working, air/fuel leftover from combustion in the crankcase, recirculated to intake to burn off and control emissions. The valve covers tend to get clogged at the hose ports with sludge causing oil consumption and other PCV issues.
