Default Rattling in Trunk

Hey everyone, I was trying to find the appropriate place to post this but saw that the interior section was DIY's.. Anyway, this is going to sound really funny but I have been hearing a rattling in the back of my Z ever since i got the car and found that it was the jack resting inside of the spare tire. I have looked but cannot seem to find a good spot to store the jack inside of the car. Where do you guys store yours? Sorry for the lame thread, feel free to delete once answered.

OEM jack is supposed to be stored inside the storage thing. Without photos haven't the faintest idea what you have, and why it is not stored properly.

Sorry I know that the picture sucks but it's super dark out and the lights in my garage don't hit the trunk.. As you can see the jack is to the top right of the spare tire

It's suppose to rest in the lower right corner, tied down by the black velcro strap.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but I can't seem to get it to fit? It's been a long day so maybe i'm just missing something?

Does anyone know how to touch up the scratch marks on the rubber type interior door handles? Quite a few small white scratch marks from what I believe to be the driver trying to climb out with keys in his hand.

I'm reviving this old thread because I have the same question - how was the jack stored in the trunk from the factory? There is a nice foam insert that has obvious locations for all the other items, but I can't figure out how the jack should be stowed. I have the velcro strap and pretty sure that is involved. Can someone post a picture of how it came from the factory?
