Hi All,
I've been searching a lot but couldn't find a definitive answer. I'm a noob regarding mods.
My car is stock and the fuel pump died on me. It's a 2007 with the HR engine. I couldn't find any OEM that could be delivered in my area quickly, and found a Walbro High pressure (255) on ebay from a good seller at a much better price than the OEM, and just ordered it.
However I'm having buyer remorses right now because just realized if this put more pressure, which the car doesn't need, doesn't it make the engine too rich, does it strain the fuel regulator, or the stock fuel regulator will handle it just fine? Can this cause any performance issues or eventual failures?
What are your thoughts on that?
Thanks a lot I appreciate any advice I'm a little worried.
