I recently purchased a 350z from an owner who had lost the original remote. I picked up another KBRASTU15 remote and went out to the car today to program it. While programing was easy enough, I found that the unlock and lock buttons functions are reversed. The lock button unlocks the car, and the unlock button locks it. I contacted the vendor because to me this seems like faulty behavior.

I tried programing it with the door locked and unlocked, and with using the lock / unlock key to activate the programming. Is there a certain procedure to get the remote to program so that the keys will function as indicated, or is my unit faulty?

The vendor agreed that the unit was probably faulty and has issued another to be sent out with free return service of the original (woot!)

Has anyone else experienced this issue with their remote?
