Default randomly ABS kicking in

before i start, i'd like to say that i did the complete VDC off switch mod long time ago. I was able to turn off if i want to, turn back on if i want to. it was consistant. (ABS never came on)

Few days ago, i got my solid rear diff bushings installed. It took them like 8 hours of hammering to get the diff bushing out..
After getting everything installed, i headed home. The first thing i noticed was the ABS light coming on. (i always drove around with VDC and Slip light on by turning em off with switch mod. NEVER had the ABS kicking in before.)

I turn off the car, start it back on, and ABS goes away. Sometimes while driving, the ABS comes on randomly. Sometimes, it doesn't come on at all.

Sometimes when ABS light is not on, i feel the pulsation of ABS in the brake pedal and gas pedal. But once the light goes off, no more pulsation.

My rear brake pads are probably super thin by now. The squealing noise is very loud... new Pads are already in shipment. I don't think this should throw off ABS..

i am going to take the car back to shop but i'd like to get some thoughts from you guys why this is happening. The shop is very far from my house so...it's hard to make another trip if they fail to fix that day.

let me know what you guys think is causing this problem..

nah for real. i thought all sorts of stuff becuase in my logic, it couldnt be the pads right?
It was the ABS actuator, i knew it.. or wait, maybe the ABS sensors... etc etc.. maybe the module itself.. sh#T! its expensive! I read the "unhooking abs altogether" threads.. i hated driving my car... right as i coasted to a stop light at the very last second i could hear and feel the abs pump.. very lame. Maybe its the steering column ground issue and the slip light?
Is it my tire profile height and the traction control? Does my car have VDC? etc etc.. i read ALOT about it..

changed my rotors and pads.. 100% cured immediately.
Simple as that.

Post back and let me know when its the pads so i can say i told you so haha.

tonight, i sanded down the rear rotors and replaced the pads.
Then, disconnected the battery for a minute and reconnected.
The ABS and ebrake lights are still on after test driving..
i wish the lights magically go away tomorrow morning ..

I have a similar issue because of my lsd install...one of the flanges out of the lsd was sticking out too much so the abs sensor wasn't reading properly so I would occasionally get the abs pusling randomly...check and make sure the flange out of the lsd is in the right place for the sensor to read...

and if that's not the problems, the abs sensors may be bad (they sometimes get damaged when working on your pumpkin) and you may need new sensors...

i don't get what you mean by one of the flanges sticking out too much..
Should i pretty much just un bolt all the bolts that hold the rear axles against the pumpkin?

Ok, let's make it easy for you to understand...see the area of the flange i have circled?

That needs to be aligned with the abs sensor...if the flange is not aligned, you will have abs issues...

The same thing happened to me with the stub shafts and my LSD install. Just a matter of getting everything sorted and in was good.

Now one other thing to consider, doesn't the car in question have a hydraulic ebrake installed. That could easily cause problems.

Take pics of the installed stubs on each side and post them. Have the camera on the ground pointing up.

The abs sensor is located in the rear axle?

Wheel speed sensors are on all four corners. Rears happen to mount on the axles close to the pumpkin.
