Default Super loud screeching noise, wont crank

Long story short, I was at a stop sign close to home when an incredibly loud screeching noise came from the engine bay. I instantly turned the car off, got out checked all the belts and anything I could see with a flashlight.

No sign of anything, and now the car won't even attempt to turn over. I tried to pop the clutch while moving it out of traffic and the tires just locked.

Oil pump? Idler pulley? Suggestions or theories?

All fluids were topped off and still are. The entire car gets power and it was running absolutely fine prior to the noise.

Im prepared for the consensus to be a seized motor, just looking for some input while i call transport companies today. (if you know a good company please lmk ^_^)

How many miles? Maybe the timing went off?

it is possible that the one timing chain that runs from the crankshaft to the two upper cams, broke. That would explain why you cant see the problem, and not turning over.

4k miles (on the build) and I thought I would have heard the chain break.

The thing about it not turning over is even if the chain was broke, the assembly should still rotate. It most definitely will not.

I just talked to someone who had seized a motor before and said when it happened they also heard a high pitched screeching sound. ::shrug:: I was shipping it out next week for a LS swap anyway, but i still need to part this build out lol

Thank you for your suggestions when it warms up this weekend I was going to drop the pan and look for metal :/
