Kick Panel Fuse Area
I have an 2008 A/T and today it would not move out of the park position into reverse or any other. I played with it for a little bit, not forcing it, turned the motor off and then back on. It finally went into reverse after a few tries. After reading several posts it says to check fuse slot 12 behind the driver side kick panel. I have no idea which slot is #12 or if this is even the issue. Thanks to anyone who responds.

First, I don't own an auto, so I can't speak from experience. Once you pull off the cover of the fuse panel, look at the diagram on the inside and it'll list each fuse and amperage and you should be able to figure out which fuse has anything to do with your tranny.
Having said that, I doubt your problem is going to be resolved from the fuse panel. Have you tried the shift override that is usually located on the shifter console? It allows you to put the car into neutral from park.
